A4uexpo Conference Lowdown

The a4uexpo over the last couple of days has been a great success for Shopzilla, we had many an affiliate and contact drop by as well as having had interesting conversations with agencies, networks and individuals. We also had a prize draw to win a £50 shopping voucher. The lucky winner of our competition was announced in the draw at 3.45pm yesterday as Stephanie Small from neo@ogilvy…congratulations to Stephanie!!

The conference provided some great sessions on many affiliate topics  including SEO strategies, Social Media for affiliates, Performance Marketing,  and the evolution of online monetisation amongst others. There were some great networking opportunites at the three parties, organised at various bars across Munich.

We’re already looking forward to the next a4u event held in October in London. See you there!

A4uexpo Conference Kicks Off in Munich

munich-a4uexpoSo today is the day people are packing their bags and heading off to the long-awaited a4uexpo conference held in Munich at the Hilton Park Hotel.

Looking at Twitter recently, the conference has created a fantastic buzz with the affiliates amongst us. There will be many delegates and exhibitors attending the various sessions, stands and networking opportunities. The event runs from 18th-19th May with many huge and exciting affiliate topics and evenings in store. It promises to be a conference to remember; a place at which to showcase affiliate knowlegde and expertise and to glean advice from some of the industry’s very best.

Shopzilla’s UK Publisher Team will be exhibiting at Stand B7 so come by and say hello, we’d love to chat and meet you in person. We’ll be tweeting regular updates throughout the two days so follow us on @ShopzillaUK for live news and information!

Internet World 2010 London Conference

Internet World are this week holding their annual conference at Earl’s Court with high attendance rates expected from affiliates, digital marketers and those from online businesses in an attempt to network, discover new practices and share innovative strategies.

Scott Macon, Shopzilla’s Managing Director, will be holding a 30 minute session on Tuesday 27th April at 1.10pm entitled “Leveraging reviews to maximise customer engagement“ in the eCommerce Theatre.  He will be discussing how customer reviews can increase traffic acquisition and conversion rates, amongst other points and will be sharing several retailer examples of this. Don’t miss out!

There will also be many other seminars encompassing content management, digital marketing, social media and connectivity and hosting which will offer expert opinions from those in the know.

The conference is free to all so we look forward to seeing you there!

A4Uexpo Munich - Are You Going to This Year’s Long Awaited International Conference?

Shopzilla has taken the plunge and confirmed our attendance at the A4uexpo Europe held  in Munich on 18th-19th May.

We will be exhibiting both days and attending the various social networking parties, of which the first takes place on the evening of Monday 17th May.

Amsterdam saw the very first a4uexpo last year and this year the beautiful city of Munich will play host to the conference. Hundreds of sponsors across all levels (platinum, gold, silver and bronze), exhibitors and attendees alike are expected with some huge opportunities for networking and information sharing. There will also be a series of talks each day on a variety of subjects within the Affiliate Marketing space such as PPC, SEO and Social Media amongst others, and you’ll have the chance to rub shoulders with some of the greatest names in the field.
